Accurate and easy to set up.

Reservation: If you lose the RF signal, you have to bring the unit close to the sensor and remove the batteries from each to get them to acquire again. At least I had to, and that meant climbing up onto my roof-twice. It's been working steadily for about a month now, though with no problems.

Do not buy this weather station in the city. I live in an urban area where everyone has wireless networks, and near the Fox TV broadcasting tower. Usually, my location has not been a problem, but since I bought this weather station, it has rained over 200 inches and the temperature has risen to over 108 degrees.

I called LaCrosse, the manufacturer. They want me to take pictures and answer questions about electrical generators and car alarms. All I really want to know is temperature, rainfall and wind speed.

I guess I will have to rely on the radio again or build an ark because according to the weather center, the rain keeps coming down!!!

    I hope I can get a refund.

This is the best weather station I have ever owned. I use to have the 2308 but the sensors died on me so I decided to get a new one instead of replacing the sensors. I like the fact that it has a storm warning alarm and measures the rain fall. You can't go wrong with this station.

Easy to install, works great and easy to program. Love the fact it does temp, rainfall and wind altogether.

My wife and I live four miles out in the country, in a river valley. Local radio stations, The Weather Channel, and computer weather are not accurate in our setting. Having this weather station for the last 3 weeks has put us on top of the weather situation right where we live.

I am enjoying this instrument and look forward to the changing of the seasons as well as the different weather patterns.

I have really enjoyed this weather station since I put it into service. I have another outside thermometer and it is astonishing how close they are to one another. I play a lot of golf and here in Kansas, wind is a big deal so I really scutinize the wind velocity readings from the station. I love having this tool at my fingertips and rarely a day goes by that I don't look at the readings 4-5 times a day.

I got my Weather Channel for Christmas and I can't stop "playing" with it. We own a vineyard and I need to know the history of the rainfall as well as the possibility of rainfall for our grapes. Some neighbors have also called to get the weather info from us. Love it!

We can't get the anonometer far enough from the house to get accurate readings, We can't figure out how to reset the rainfall so it's difficult to get accurate readings. It was easy to put up and just great to not have to go outside.

I enjoy my weather station and especially like the minimum/maximum feature to check temperatures and wind speed. The only feature missing is indoor temp, but it doesnt matter because indoor temp is whatever my thermostadt is set to. I looked at several weather stations before this purchase and this one hand the most features for the least money, I would recommend this unit to anyone.
