La Crosse was founded in 1985 as a multinational company and leader in weather technology. Using the atomic time standard of the National Institute of Standards and Technology, their clocks are calibrated daily to ensure accuracy and precision. They offer digital and analog models and well as travel size clock with a variety of features like temperature and humidity.La Crosse has worked with The Weather Channel to create innovative home weather stations that show real-time weather conditions with wireless thermometers and rain gauges. Their Adventure Series of wrist watches have compass, weather and altimeter features as well as graphing capabilities. One of their most popular items is the projection alarm clock that shows indoor and outdoor temperature. They also manufacture hand held anemometers that show maximum and average wind speeds.
